BEST DAY!!

I got the opportunity to be first row at the Jimmy Kimmel Q and A.

Taylor Lautner smiled and waved at me and I yelled at Rob and he turned to look at me and smiled. AAAAAAAAAAAH soooo happy :)

I stood outside on a sidewalk in line for 7 hours until I finally got in, but it was worth it!

Also, the pictures were taken on my camera phone because they didn't allow regular cameras and of course I have the crappiest phone in the world. So no zoom!!

Love Her

Today as I was driving I noticed a couple running in the road and I started mumbling to myself, "stupid people can't even run on the side walk." Then my reaction changed as I noticed the girl running by my car was none other than Reese Witherspoon and her husband. Too cute! Then I realized her and I both run around the same area so it's only a matter of time before I run into her again. :)

What I Want...

"I wish I could stay home with my girlfriend and watch Seinfeld. I'd like to hang out in bed and watch TV and play guitar. I would love that. I'm willing to make compromises based on someone I think is the one"

Twilight Convention

Today I got the great experience to see everyone on Twilight, except for Kellan. The day started with the Cullen family doing a question and answer. I was excited to hear them speak because I feel that the focus always goes to the trio immediately. I thought Peter was pretty funny especially when he talked about wanting a different super power other than compassion.

After the Cullen family came Brice and Xavior. I loved them! Brice was someone who understood our love with Twilight and not only that but she portrays Victoria perfectly. Xavior, where do I start? He might be my next favorite after Rob since today. He was just so modest, had an australian accent. What more could you want?

My friend and I decided to get the scoop to where the stars were coming in at with the hope of catching a glimpse of Rob, Kristen, or Taylor. Unfortunetly we didn't get to see them, but we did see Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, and Julia Jones.

When we found out the news that the trio had already entered the building we sprinted into the theatre and that's when my stomach flipped. I was in the same room as Rob. The three cast members were hilarous especially Rob! The question and answer included jokes about Taylor looking like a telletubby to Rob mentioning butt chunks. I loved when Rob said his dad told him to be nice at the peak of your success because when you go down again everyone will help, and he does a great job at this! This was definetly a day to remember.

Happy Birthday!

I'm so glad to call you my best friend. You're really one of a kind and sincerely nice. It's good to know I can always depend on you for anything! And I know you will always care, fake laugh at my dumb jokes, and help me pick out outfits. You're just as ambitious as I am and I love it! Around this time in one year we will actually have a summer off in NYC! I'm so excited we're moving!

Happy Birthday! I hope you're day is amazing!

I love you!

Summer Is In The Air

I swear this song is the soundtrack of my summer each year. :)

The House That Built Me

"I know they say you cant go home again.
I just had to come back one last time.
Ma'am I know you don't know me from Adam.
But these handprints on the front steps are mine.
And up those stairs, in that little back bedroom
is where I did my homework and I learned to play guitar.
And I bet you didn't know under that live oak
my favorite dog is buried in the yard.

I thought if I could touch this place or feel it
this brokenness inside me might start healing.
Out here its like I'm someone else,
I thought that maybe I could find myself
if I could just come in I swear I'll leave.
Won't take nothing but a memory
from the house that built me."

Just Another Monday

"I've been crying for days now
And as I start to run, I stop to breathe
And I was nearly scared to death
Why you left in paragraphs
The words were nearly over us
You stop and turn and grab your bags

And I'll be here by the ocean
Just waiting for proof that there's sunsets and silhouette dreams
All my sand castles fall like the ashes of cigarettes
And every waves drags me to sea
I could stand here for hours
Just to ask God the question, "Is everyone here make-believe?"
With a tear in His voice, He said, "Son, that's the question."
Does this deafening silence mean nothing to no one but me?"

Home Sick

"Cause nothing feels like home, you're a thousand miles away
And the hardest part of living
Is just taking breaths to stay"

Struck Me Like Lightening

Gloves, pullovers, and clovers are all words that mean absolutely nothing to us. They all include the most important four letters that only when they are put together, without anything else, enclose the power to make and break you. Love. What is love? What is this crazy feeling that overwhelms us, makes our stomachs flip, and can cause the biggest heartache.

We love to sing it off our rooftops, proclaim it to the world that we’ve accomplished the impossible. At times life likes to knock you down, tell you you’re wrong, and laugh in your face. The struggle is having the strength to get up and keep searching for that one chance, moment, or second when you find love. I can’t understand how living in a city such as Los Angeles we can find it. It seems like it is simply impossible. There are no stars to gaze and wish upon for love to arrive.

There always seems to be an absence of romance. In this city full of people who battle to be the prettiest, how do you catch someone’s eye without speaking? We already live in a world full of lust so how do we clear through the haziness and find the clear direction to love?

A Free Day to Read

"No other activity was like it. To project one's soul into some gracious form, and let it tarry there for a moment; to hear one's own intellectual views echoed back to one with all the added music of passion and youth; to convey one's temperament into another, as though it were a subtle fluid or a strange perfume: there was real joy in that- perhaps the most satisfying joy left to us in an age so limited and vulgar as our own, an age grossly carnal in its pleasures, and grossly common in its aims."

"I forgot to tell you the happy ending."
"What is it?"
"You."

Salvador Dali

Here are two of my favorite and most influential people. I stumbled upon this picture of Salvador Dali with Chanel today. I had no idea they were friends but have always admired Salvador Dali's art more than any other artist's.

He is my overall favorite painter because his artwork isn't just measured by his brush strokes, but by the way he conveys his perception of the world in his art. Every time I go to a museum I can't help but search through fliers with the hope of finding one of his artworks. I have traveled through 4 countries and have not found the pleasure of coming across one.

If I ever find myself in Florida, it is the first place you can find me, the Salvador Dali Museum. :)

...Yes We Belong Together

This song and clip from the movie can only remind me dancing around my house at 6 years old singing my heart out to my Ritchie Valens cassette. :)

Contemplate

"But beauty, real beauty, ends where an intellectual expression begins. Intellect is in itself a mode of exaggeration, and destroys the harmony of the face. The moment one sits down to think, one becomes all nose, or all forehead, or something horrid."

Olivia Palermo

Oh Happy Friday!!!

"I've got this feeling in my blood
That I want more this ain't enough
A girlfriend, a movie, a slow dance, and straight teeth
Some candle lit forced sentiment
I'm bored to tears you're amorous
So please pass the regret
It tastes good on thick skin
Fast approaching death you
Aren't helping it
Your smiles been losing it's charm
You still think you've got it
Is this the best idea that you've ever had?"

What Completes Me...

Music is my one true love. A relationship that can not be damaged or destroyed. To me music influences everything you do and creates you into the person you are. It is your own personal identity. It's more meaningful than the imprint on your thumb. I feel that music is something that flows through your mind and soul and we each have a separate mixture of songs that electrify our being.

Why else would we ask other people what type of music we listen to? Music creates a connection with other people because of the same feelings we share. We all seem to associate and group ourselves with people who share the same interest in music. Not only that but in order to identify people with the same music taste; They have to dress the part. Hardcore with skinny jeans, rap music with baggy clothes, and country with cowboy boots.

Music makes us unique in every single way. This must be the reason that I find the radio as a thief. It likes to steal the beats and rhythm of my personality for everyone to listen. It ruins the song being special to me when I know that way more than a small amount are listening to the same song. Of course there are some artists that will never be over played to me.

A day without music for me is like a day without breathing. Music has always been in my life since a young age from playing piano, flute, and a small amount of guitar (learning). By laying in bed listening to a song I easily get the urge to play it, follow the rhythm, and picture the notes in my head. My mind and heart have an everlasting connection with music.

I can't get a tune out of my head.
I can't stop loving it.

The Way You Look Tonight

This movie makes me cry every single time!! Definitely one of my favorites :)

Then- Brad Paisley

I remember, trying not to stare the night that I first met you
You had me mezmorized
And three weeks later, in the front porch light
taking forty-five minutes to kiss goodnight
I hadn't told you yet
but I thought I loved you then

And now you're my whole life
now you're my whole world
I just can't believe the way I feel about you, girl
Like a river meets the sea,
stronger than it's ever been.
We've come so far since that day
And I thought I loved you then

And i remember, taking you back to right where I first met you,
You were so surprised
There were people around, but I didn't care
Got down on one knee right there once again,
I thought I loved you then

And now you're my whole life
now you're my whole world
I just can't believe the way I feel about you, girl
Like a river meets the sea,
stronger than it's ever been.
We've come so far since that day
And I thought I loved you then

I could just see you, with a baby on the way
And I could just see you, when your hair is turning gray
What I can't see is how I'm ever gonna love you more
But I've said that before

And now you're my whole life
now you're my whole world
I just can't believe the way I feel about you, girl
We'll look back someday, at this moment that we're in
And I'll look at you and say
And I thought I loved you then
And I thought I loved you then

Beautiful California Day!

The sun is out with a small cool breeze. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. I went for a run in Santa Monica and the weather couldn't have been better but my right shin definitely could have.....shin splits. I couldn't hate anything more.

So, after my run I went and searched through a thrift store for some vintage goods, grabbed lunch, and jammed out to Phoenix with the warm sun on my cheeks.

Something Pretty

I definitely am in a need of decorating my apartment some more. I want it all to be cute, colorful, and with a vintage feel to it. I'm going to have to search through the flea market for awesome cheap furniture and decor to replace mine! :)

Something's Better On The Other Side

"Searching all my days just to find you
I'm not sure who I'm looking for
I'll know it
When I see you
Until then, I'll hide in my bedroom
Staying up all night just to write
A love song for no one
I'm tired of being alone
So hurry up and get here"
John Mayer
